Copy 54 of 150 numbered sets (fewer than 100 were completed), signed by Overfield and Jim Nice, who prepared the accompanying ties. Publisher's green levant morocco by Aquarius, full morocco on the text volume, half-morocco on the flies portfolio, all edges gilt, green cloth slipcase. 8 1/2 x 5 3/8 inches; 288 pp., with the laid-in signed list of corrigenda; frontispiece, plates, half-title, with 20 original nymphs tied by Jim Nice to Skues's patterns housed in the second volume. Spines slightly faded, else fine.
Drawing from Skues's own writings, Overton skillfully outlines his subject's life in angling.
