each plate appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition, i.e., no apparent rim chips, hairline cracks, staining, etc.; some of the plates have some light scratch marks to their centers, commensurate with some usage, not of great consequence; the gilding along the rims edges appears to be generally intact, i.e., no losses
