Doyle Expands in Connecticut and Westchester

NEW YORK, NY -- Doyle is pleased to announce an expansion of our team serving Connecticut and Westchester County. Experienced auction professional Katie Banser-Whittle has been appointed as our newest Connecticut Regional Advisor. She joins Doyle’s Director of Regions/Connecticut Regional Advisor Jenny Pitman in providing our full range of appraisal and auction services to collectors, families, fiduciaries and institutions in Connecticut and Westchester County.

Katie possesses a rich arts background spanning over two decades in auction, museum and gallery settings. She worked ten years at Christie’s in New York where she served as AVP and Specialist in the Musical Instruments department until her promotion to Specialist and Project Manager in the Private and Iconic Collections specialty department.

More recently, Katie was Regional Manager, Northeast for Bonhams Skinner. She provided appraisal and auction evaluation services and managed client relations with individuals, fiduciaries, not-for-profit organizations, and museums in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.

Katie began her career in the arts in private galleries in New Orleans and at museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Anthropology from Tulane University in New Orleans. She is also a graduate of Richmond, The American International University in London, having received her Master of Arts in Art History with a concentration in Art of the Italian Renaissance.
