Attributed to Giacomo Raffaelli (1753-1837), circa 1800,
finely executed in two seperate frames, depicting various doves, an athenienne, Roman ruins like the tomb of Cecilia Metella, the Arch of Titus or Arch of Constantine, a classical altar with flaming urn, a doves nest, and doves, all reserved on a slate ground within a gilt-bronze frame.
Each frame: height 3,1 inches (8 cm), width 3,9 inches (10 cm)
