General," the card with the imprint and stamp of C.M. Bell photographers of Washington D.C., also with a contemporary label over the lower portion of the photograph reading "Gen'l Sheridan 228." 6 3/4 x 4 1/4 inches; framed. Sheridan's hair lightly added in pencil, possible pencil line down the face, nick to the label, light dustsoiling, not examined out of frame; In a framed display with a pencil signed slip reading "P.H. Sheridan/Lieut. General," 2 x 3 inches, together and attractive display.
