The Civil List for Ireland in the reign of Queen Anne

Anne R. An Establishment or list containing all payments to be made for Civil List affairs from the 25th day of March 1709. in the Eighth Year of our Reign. For the Kingdome of Ireland. Generall Heads and Particulars under each head. Manuscript on paper, London?: 1709. Period paneled calf, spine with initials E.N., all edges gilt. 6 7/8 x 4 1/2 inches (17.5 x 11.5 cm); 79 pp., written in an elegant formal script in brown ink. Light wear. According to an old catalogue description mounted to the final blank, the manuscript is from the library of Sir Frederick Augusta Barnard, the librarian to George III, though with no other indications to this effect.

An elegant calligraphic manuscript of the Civil List for Ireland for the period, listing the customary payments of the officers of state from the Lord Treasurer on down, as well as the payments for all troops stationed in Ireland.
