São Paolo-based Silvia Furmanovich is born of a long line of Italian goldsmiths. Her jewelry focuses on the unique and colorful alchemy of wood marquetry, utilizing Amazonia Bamboo, and other unusual metals and elements, paired with precious metals, colored stones and diamonds. She has received many design awards including the Couture Design Award three times and Town & Country's 2018 Collection of the Year. In 2022, Furmanovich collaborated with The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, New York, and The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas, for The Heirloom Project which celebrated The Met's 10th anniversary of the re-imagined Islamic Wing. In 2023, she designed a line of homeware goods for Asprey London.
