The oval pierced gallery top decorated with a flowering urn, goblet and ewer, above a frieze inlaid with a design of books, inkwells, quills and other implements, and fitted with a drawer, raised on cabriole legs joined by a stretcher shelf inlaid with a pictorial still life of a vase with flowers and a fan, and ending in fish scale cast sabots, stamped CTopino JME. Height 29 1/4 inches (74 cm), width 19 1/4 inches (49 cm), depth 15 1/4 inches (39 cm).
