First edition, the variant with p. 134 ending "spasmodic/affection," no known priority. Period brown calf. 10 1/4 x 8 inches (26 x 20.5 cm); xii, 398, 7 ff. (text accompanying plates), 12 pp. index. The binding somewhat worn, rebacked but joints now starting again; And three other works, two of which (one by Colles, the other by James Boyle) are on the uses of mercury as a specific for syphilis, the third a 1725 translation into French of a work by Deidier partly on venereal diseases. Various bindings. Wear.
