Lightly toned and dust-soiled, some thumbsoiling to plates, several leaves with short tears into margins, small loss to corner of title at gutter; Bound to match with BENDIRE, CHARLES. Life Histories of North American Birds with special reference to their breeding habits and eggs. Washington: Smithsonian Institution, Government Printing Office, 1892-95. Two volumes.Modern blue cloth. 13 1/4 x 10 inches. 19 chromolithographic plates by J. L. Ridgway of eggs. An untrimmed copy, a few leaves unopened, crease to the title of volume 1, light spotting to plates, a few spots to cloth. Nissen IVB 89. The lot 3 volumes.
