, a group of imprints bound in two volumes in 20th century cloth, the first volume commencing with Laws of the state of Delaware, passed at a session of the General Assembly, which was begun and held at Dover ... New Castle: Samuel and John Adams, 1798. 43 pp. Evans 33621; and continues with the laws for 1799-1804, each with a separate title page but continuing the pagination, the imprints varying in Dover, Wilmington, etc. The second volume containing the Laws from 1806 (Dover: Wooten & Allee) and continues with the laws for 1807-1813, each with a separate title page but continuing the pagination. Both volumes with a table and index at rear. 9 3/8 x 5 1/2 inches (24 x 14 cm). Both volumes retaining blanks, the first signed variously by George Cummins, the second by "A. Hamilton" and with many annotations, this possibly Alexander Hamilton, Jr. who was studying law at this time but this unconfirmed, some foxing; Together with a volume containing the Laws for 1813-14 and a bound index. Stamps and wear. The lot four volumes.
