Early 19th century
Each of oval form, one depicting a mourning female figure clutching an urn with laurel leaf swags on a pedestal; the other standing figure of Cupid resting on a swagged pedestal, a quiver of arrows and a bow resting on the side, within a later painted and part ebonized frame. Sight height 12 1/4 inches (31.1 cm), width 8 3/8 inches (21.3 cm).

Previous restorations, the plaque with the female figure with repaired breaks and restorations to upper right quadrant, plaques not clean and with patination, chips to edges along frame; male figure with chips and minor losses
