Publisher's boards, rebacked. 6 7/8 x 4 1/8 inches (17.5 x 10.5 cm); xii, 259, [3] pp.; hand-colored frontispiece, three plates in outline, and a folding map at the rear. Rebacked as noted, internally fresh; together with ALEXANDER, WILLIAM. Picturesque Representations of the Dress and Manners of the Russians. London: John Murray, 1814. First quarto edition. Full brown russia gilt, rebacked, all edges gilt. 9 x 6 inches (23 x 15.5 cm); viii, 64 ff. text with accompanying hand-colored aquatint plates.
