Anita Ragusa (LaG 1996) was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and currently lives and works in New York. In 2004, she received her B.F.A. in Painting from Cooper Union. Select group exhibitions include Queens International at the Queens Museum of Art and Pretty Young Thing: PYT, New York. She participated in the inaugural Project Diversity Queens 2007; Visual AIDS: Postcards From the Edge benefit at the James Cohan Gallery; and the Momenta 2011 Spring Benefit. Ragusa was one of six recipients of the 2007 A.I.R. Gallery Fellowship.
