Alastair Ninian John Gordon, 6th Marquess of Aberdeen and Temair, was a British botanical artist and art critic who succeeded to the peerage later in life. Trained at Gray’s School of Art and the Camberwell School of Art, he became a highly successful botanical painter, exhibiting widely in London, New York, Chicago, and Sydney.
