Helen Levitt, two photographs of Mexican children, 1941

Two photographs of children. Comprises two prints entitled Mexico, 1941, likely vintage or near-vintage. Gelatin silver prints, 7 3/4 by 9 3/4 inches (197 x 248 mm) and 6 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches (165 by 241 mm), both signed, dated and titled by Levitt in pencil on the verso, with additional pencil annotations, possibly in another hand. Very slight silvering noted, light wear to the print edges (one print is trimmed flush), in all both are in near excellent condition.
When these prints are examined under ultraviolet light, they do not appear to fluoresce.
