Manuscript survey map in ink, hand-colored, laid down on modern linen backing. 23 x 33 1/2 inches. Uneven dust soiling, small losses at corners and a larger loss at the right edge, a few closed cracks and tears, minor creasing, some later manuscript annotations in pencil and blue grease pencil.
A particularly attractively rendered manuscript survey map of property on the eastern side of Sixth Avenue between Ninth and Twelfth Streets in what is now the West Village. The map records landowners' names, lot numbers, dimensions, and certain buildings.
