Glue relined. Repaired 6 1/2-inch tear descending diagonally from the brim of the sitter's hat into his cheek. An area of restoration (approximately 3 x 1 inches) along the crown of the boy's hat at upper left; another area of restoration (approximately 2 x 1 1/2 inches) in the background of the lower right quadrant, a few inches above the boy's shoulder.
