Drawings. New York: Walker and Company, (1967). With a pen and ink drawing by De Kooning, signed (l.r.) on the front panel of the dust-jacket. Publisher's boards in dust jacket. 10 x 8 1/4 inches (25.5 x 20.5 cm); unpaginated. The drawing measures 5 x 5 1/2 inches (12.5 x 14.5 cm). Light wear, slight toning to the paper of the jacket with an unrelated ink notation at top right, the drawing in sound condition.
The volume is a collection of reproductions of 24 charcoal drawings made by De Kooning with closed eyes in 1966. The playful drawing of a female nude on the front cover appears likely to have been done in the same manner as those drawings.
