Run of George Laws, 1799-1820, twenty-five volumes (plus one facsimile) in 20th century cloth, includes one separately printed index (1808), the run commencing with Acts of the General Assembly of the State of Georgia. Louisville Ga.: Elisha H. Waldo, 1799. 150 pp. Contemporary signature of Richard M. Stites, stamped and toned, an elegantly printed work. Evans 35540; and continuing in a generally consecutive fashion with further Louisville imprints, one from Augusta, and the balance from Milledgeville. Most titles stamped in ink or blind, foxing, some heavy ink notations to titles or within, the first leaves of the 1811 volume present but imperfect, these provided in facsimile, other notations of missing leaves, not fully collated and sold as is.
