Partridge Rambles, in Which the Author Sets Forth His Reasons Why He Prefers to Hunt That Noble Bird Without the Use of a Dog. Together with Some Hints to Those Who Might Like to Take Up That Fascinating Sport.
N.p.: [privately printed], 1937. A signed (as "Bill") presentation copy. Publisher's cloth-backed patterned boards with paste label on upper cover. 7 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches (19 x 13 cm); 32 pp. Light wear to extremities; and [idem.] Partridge Adventures. [Cambridge, Mass.]: privately printed, 1951. First edition, with "Compliments of the Author" card laid in, inscribed. Publisher's green cloth gilt. 9 x 6 inches (23 x 15 cm); 65 pp.; frontispiece and plates after photographs. A fine copy.

The last two an uncommon pair of privately printed volumes recounting the author's adventures hunting partridge in New Hampshire and New York.
