Colored stones: medium sky blue, milky green, greenish yellow, yellowish orange, pink, purple and greenish brown, cleanish to moderately included, inclusions slightly visible in blue topaz, transparent to translucent, good polish.
Pearls: whitish with rose and green orient, one pearl with some texture to nacre, several minor blemishes, good luster.
Colored stones: light to medium baby blue, greenish-yellow, yellowish-orange, pink, purple and slightly purplish pink, cleanish to moderately included, inclusions slightly visible in blue topaz, transparent to translucent, good polish.

NEW YORK, NY – Diamonds dazzled at Doyle's auction of Important Jewelry on October 30, 2024 as a global audience of bidders drove exceptional results! The auction followed a sale in the Fine Jewelry category on October 29 that also saw intense competition, leading to a two-day total that topped $5.6 million!
Highlighting the October 31 sale was a stunning platinum and diamond ring featuring an asscher-cut diamond weighing 21.37 carats, H color, VS2 clarity, estimated at $350,000-550,000 that achieved $610,100. Signed Fred Leighton, the ring was property of an Important Private Collection.
From the Collection of Irving & Joan Getz was a platinum and diamond ring centering an emerald-cut diamond of 9.83 carats, H color, VVS2 clarity, that sold to a Southern collector for $203,700, surpassing its $125,000-175,000 estimate.
Colored diamonds featured a ring from the Collection of a Palm Beach Lady set with a Fancy Yellow diamond weighing 10.81 carats, VVS2 clarity, that doubled its $60,000-80,000 estimate, selling for $140,200.
Jewelry set with colored gemstones was highlighted by a Van Cleef and Arpels sapphire and diamond necklace that realized $191,000, far exceeding its estimate of $100,000-150,000. Property of a Pacific Northwest Family, the glamorous, circa 1980s necklace was purchased by an overseas buyer.
