The 1853 Army & Navy Registers, with mounted signature of Jefferson Davis

Official Army Register 1853; bound with Register of the Commissioned and Warrant Officers of the Navy of the United States, Including Officers of the Marine Corps, for the Year 1853. Washington: 1853. With the clipped signature of Jefferson Davis affixed at front and the clipped signatures of two others (J.G. Dobbin and John P. Kennedy) affixed to the second title, all cut signatures. Publisher's leather-backed boards in modern slipcase. Binding moderately worn, the title of the first work tipped to a guard, generally internally clean.
According to the accompanying Letter of Authenticity issued by PSA/DNA Authentication Services, the present example of the signature of Jefferson Davis is authentic.
