Washington: 1853. With the clipped signature of Jefferson Davis affixed at front and the clipped signatures of two others (J.G. Dobbin and John P. Kennedy) affixed to the second title, all cut signatures. Publisher's leather-backed boards in modern slipcase. Binding moderately worn, the title of the first work tipped to a guard, generally internally clean.
According to the accompanying Letter of Authenticity issued by PSA/DNA Authentication Services, the present example of the signature of Jefferson Davis is authentic.
