Boston: Privately Printed, 1947. Signed and inscribed by the author. Publisher's red cloth backed boards, spine lettered in gilt and front board in red. 9 x 6 inches (23 x 15 cm); [10], 220 pp., portrait frontispiece and plates after photographs. A few areas of wear to extremities, grey cloth with some small discolored areas, spine lightly toned.

A privately printed memoir by Carl P. Dennett recounting his youth in Maine, his military service in World War I, his varied and successful career as an industrialist and financier, and much more. It includes chapters on hunting and fishing in Maine, Scotland, Florida, and South Carolina. Rare - no copies have previously appeared at auction (per RareBookHub), no copies are available in the trade (as of 7/18/2023), and there are only a handful of copies in institutional collections (per WorldCat).
