Putnam's Sons by The Knickerbocker Press, original cloth bound-in. 11 1/2 x 8 7/8 inches (29 x 22.5 cm); xx, 329, [1] pp., with 24 fine hand-colored plates by J. Smit and illustrations in text. Front cover with a transverse scratch, apparently stained with the application of leather dressing, light wear. The Walter Rutherford Peterson copy, with his bookplate.
