French Japonisme Gilt-Bronze Mounted Onyx and Lacquer Inlaid Walnut Two-Tier Tea Table
Circa 1880, in the manner of Gabriel Viardot
The rectangular green onyx top supported by guilt-bronze elephant heads above a lacquered inset tier and pierced bronze handles at mid-section, applied with pierced fretwork apron on molded legs joined by a pierced stretcher on paw feet.
Height 33 inches (84 cm), width 28 1/4 inches (72 cm), depth 19 1/2 inches (50 cm).
