Martha Garcia joined Doyle in 2015 is an Appraiser in the Jewelry Department. She is responsible for appraising the jewelry property of estates and contributes to collecting and cataloguing property to be offered in Doyle’s many jewelry auctions annually.
Prior to joining Doyle, Mrs. Garcia was Research Laboratory Technician specializing in colored diamonds at the Gemological Institute of America from 2012 through 2015. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Geological Science from The University of Texas at Austin and obtained her gemology certificate as a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.
During their 62-year marriage, legendary songwriter Irving Berlin gave his wife Ellin gifts of exquisite jewels as expressions of their lasting love. Doyle is honored to auction one of these treasured pieces.
